Abstract :
In order to improve the performance of context-aware service retrieval we present in this paper a fuzzy sets-based approach to handle uncertain and incomplete context information. Our approach is a two-phase process in which the first step discovers all services whose functional properties match the functional requirements that are needed. In the second step we deal with non-functional requirements and we rank the suitable services w.r.t their qualitative aspects. Functional context-based service discovering is used to retrieve the most appropriates services fitting user´s context, thereafter, we utilize a mechanism inspired by graph-comparison for matching non-functional context using similarity measures with contextual service descriptions, the selected services are used in ranking process. The best services among the results of ranking are provided to the user.
