Abstract :
In this paper we proposed a technique to gain performance improvement on ellipse detection using only one dimensional parameter space Hough Transform. Moreover, this paper also shows how ellipse detection is achieved by using only one dimensional accumulator array efficiently. The result of this research shows that this technique can improve the speed of previous research and can detect ellipse without depending on ellipse´s major axis existence.
