Abstract :
In this paper, we propose and analyze ultra wide band (UWB) systems employing binary ZCD (zero correlation duration) code for wireless body area network (WBAN). The performance is evaluated in terms of bit error rate (BER). From simulation results, it is confirmed that the UWB system with the ZCD code achieves better performance compared with that of pseudonoise (PN) code. The results of the paper can be applied to design and implementation of UWB systems for WBAN applications.
