Abstract :
In this paper, a system based on GSM network is introduced, with which power power earth lines status can be reliably monitor. Using SMS resource of grip GSM, monitor network is achieved of data remote transmission. The system is composed of monitor center and intelligent power earth lines monitor instruments. Data transmission theory and SMS of GSM being analysis, the design of intelligent earth line monitor instrument is discussed in detail. The instrument consists of hardware design and software design. Hardware design is composed of microcomputer 89C2051 system, GSM data transmission mode, earth line status monitor circuit, read card unit of IC (identification card) memory card and so on. By use of the serial communication control G100A SMS mode, data wireless transmission can be performance. Software design includes communication protocol and the design of transmission and receiving program. Results of experiment and application show that the design of this system can meet the requirements of user. This system will be widely applied in many fields and has huge economical value.
