  • Abstract
    When using a single sensor for fire detection, larger uncertainty and higher false alarm rate always are common problems. Multi-sensor information fusion technology could effectively deal with these problems. At present, multi-sensor information fusion technology has wide applications on fire detection system in intelligent building, forest fire forecast and ground transport. Underground trackless equipment fire detection system using a fusion information technology is rarely reported. This paper discusses theories and methods of the multi-sensor information fusion technology. Based on actual characterized of the underground trackless equipment fire, method of fusion information is analyzed and an application model and a relevant algorithm for fire detection are proposed.
