Abstract :
This Paper proposes a new method to fragment vertically and horizontally a data warehouse which based on statistic approach principal components analysis, we are presenting the theoretical basis of the PCA and the possibility of its use for the selection of the fragmentation pattern of the data warehouse to reduce the execution time of OLAP queries.
