  • Abstract
The thermostatic methane detection with catalytic sensor is a kind of new detection technique, which improves dynamic characteristic by keeping the catalytic sensor in a constant temperature with a closed loop control system. The dynamic correction link was designed on the basis of analyzing the dynamic characteristics of thermostatic detection and adjusting the system parameters. The test showed that the dynamic characteristics of the methane detection and the dynamic response were improved (the response time from 18s to 5s). The high-speed response is very helpful to monitor the sudden change of methane in mine.
