Abstract :
In this talk, a radiation beam reconfigurable antenna that can be implemented as a compact, low cost and pattern diversity will be presented. The antenna is a combination of two one-half wavelength dipole antenna. This type of antenna is a planar structure and its maximum directional radiation beam pattern presents in azimuth plane with the covering of 360 degree. To validate the proposed design, a switched-beam antenna for smart antenna which has operating at the frequency of 2.45GHz is simulated and fabricated. Except for the above antenna, other reconfigurable antennas which are designed and implemented for wireless communication will also be presented.
