Abstract
A novel indoor base station antenna is proposed in the paper. The low-profile antenna can provide switchable beam as well as two orthogonal polarized radiation patterns. The form and switch of beam directions is achieved by 4 wire elements arranged near the square patch antenna. The beam is tilted by the on/off state of switch for wire elements. A switch is also proposed and utilized to the antenna. The proposed antenna is expected to use for indoor base station.
