Abstract :
This paper presents an internal printed antenna design for handset application. This new design occupies only a compact dimension of 15×50 mm2 on the system circuit board. The operating bands cover 698-960 MHz and 1710-2690 MHz which include eight bands (LTE700/GSM850/900/DCS1800/PCS1900/ UMTS2100/LTE2300/LTE2500) for smart mobile application. Details of the antenna design, simulated and measured results on the reflection coefficient and radiation characteristics of the presented antenna are given and discussed.
