  • Abstract
A new ratio-independent analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion technique is proposed to reduce significantly capacitor mismatch errors for high-resolution pipeline A/D converters. Reduction of power consumption is achieved by sharing amplifiers. The input offset voltage of the amplifier is eliminated by swapping the differential inputs and outputs of the amplifier. 15-bit accuracy is obtained with 8-bit capacitor matching as simulated.
