  • Abstract
    Non-contact measurement systems, due to their high measuring speed, lack of contact force, and small size, have played an important role in dimensional measurement. A measurement machine integrated with a triangulation laser probe is appropriate to digitize the 3D profile of small complex object, due to its non-linearity of measuring principle. In order to enlarge its measuring range, a measuring device combined a laser displacement detector and a grating displacement detector is propped, experiments show that the measuring system realizes high precision measurement for wide-range free-form surface.
