Abstract :
In this paper, wave-shaping is produced by a circuit using a comparator, and the relation between the slice level of the speech waveform and the articulation when varying the slice level after some steps is described. The wave-shaped speech wave described above is called a multi-level sliced speech signal (a 3-level sliced or 5-level sliced speech signal).
