  • Abstract
Summary form only given. We present the results on developing a laser microsurgery complex comprising an YAG:Er laser with 2 W average power, a chalcogenide fiber delivery system with a unique damage threshold, and an optical coherence tomography (OCT) device for in situ monitoring of superficial layers of operated tissues. Using this setup, a laboratory modelling of the laser removal of cataract-suffered eye lens tissues in vitro has been carried out.
