Abstract :
High energy density (HED) capacitor made of metallized polypropylene film possesses characteristics of high reliability and is widely used in the pulsed power system. Self-healings in HEDC result in small vaporization area of the metallized electrode and slow capacitance decreasing. And in order to achieve a long life characteristic, the MPPFC should be designed to age gracefully with a predictable lifetime.
