Color management from desktop to printing press

Summary form only given. This paper will address the principles of system color, device characterization, and profiles and how they are used in desktop imaging and publishing. Now that the Internet and rich networking is available, color fidelity, management etc. is critical to conducting business using color. Vendors and service providers need to know that the customer can receive a color image/document and render it in the way the originator intended.
