Abstract :
The synchronization of the merging units (MU) of the electronic transformers includes the synchronization among multi-merging units and the synchronization among multi-data channels in the merging unit. With respect to the synchronization problem of the merging unit, this paper put foreword a kind of method using FPGA. Based on the method of state machine programming, one can synchronize the multi-data channels after identifying reliably and accurately the rising edge of the sync clock input pulse. When the sync pulse is disturbed or lost temporarily, real-time tracing and judging can be made, quickly achieving the synchronization of the merging unit when the sync clock pulse is resumed. The test results of the electronic current transformer prototype demonstrate the validity of the method proposed.
