Abstract :
Rail load measurement is an importance means to monitor the states of running trains and rail road. So precision of the measurement directly affects the estimation of running train states. In this paper, a deep discussion of rail load measurements was presented base on finite element analysis. And an improved measurement was put forward which showed better in precision. By means of ANSYS, finite element analysis of railway rail was finished, which shows strain field trend of rail and strain curves of nodes on the neutral line of rail. With the curves we found the best positions for fixing strain transducer according to sensitivity, linearity and measurability. We improve a new one with the positions got from finite element analysis, which was validated to be more advanced and superiority by experiment.
