Abstract :
Summary form only given. In this paper, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel optoelectronic technique for continuously tunable millimeter-wave generation in which a mode-locked laser diode is employed in conjunction with an external electro-optic modulator to generate millimeter-wave signal up to over 100 GHz.
