Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been expanding its field of application, the researches on WSNs is always one of the most popular research topics for their efficiency and low cost. But the capability and reliability of WSNs are strongly subject to its effective coverage. Coverage holes in WSNs now are the important problem and gain a lot of attention by lots of researchers. In this paper, we propose two algorithms based on the traditional VOR algorithm. The simulation results have demonstrated that our proposed algorithms can make holes recovery more effectively than the traditional coverage holes algorithm.
