Abstract
This paper studies the energy-saving problems of LTE heterogeneous network in green communications. We propose an new algorithm RE-PFIC (Power and Frequency Jointly Coordinate Inter-layer Interference based on Range Expansion Technology) which can improve the energy efficiency of the system based on the user-associated switching algorithm. The algorithm(RE-PFIC) is confirmed to performance well in an appropriate range of REbias (Range expansion bias) by simulation. Finally, we illustrate the feasibility of this algorithm.
