Abstract :
BOC(Binary Offset Carrier) modulation is being used in the area of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS). BOC signals not only have advantage of excellent precision in the signal´s code delay and carrier phase, but also withstand multipath effects. The ambiguity problem in BOC signals is a difficult problem in precise positioning. This paper presents a new combination between BPSK-like and BOC of estimating the time delay to mitigate ambiguity and provide robustness to multipath effects. The way of combination is similar to the principle of the carrier smoothing. Simulation shows that the new combination of BOC ambiguity mitigation can reach target of mitigating ambiguity.
