Abstract :
Design of orthogonal waveforms with good correlation property is crucial for implementing multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar. Firstly, a waveform set design using multiple frequency slopes (MFS) is presented. Secondly, for getting an optimization result, genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed to numerically search optimal frequency slope sequences for MFS waveforms. Finally, the simulation results and comparisons show that the optimal method proposed in this paper can make the MFS waveforms have good orthogonal performance.
