Abstract :
An 80 MHz, 3-level output, bandpass sigma delta modulator analog to digital converter (ADC) with complete digital tuning is presented. The proposed architecture is based on error feedback mechanism with a 64-level flash ADC, and a 3-level DAC in the loop. It yields almost constant SNR for programmable signal band that can be placed anywhere in the 2 to 38MHz band.
