Abstract :
A novel direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method for the centre-symmetric circular array is proposed to cope with the scenario where non-circular signals are presented. By formulate the problem of parameters estimation as a generalized eigen-value decomposition problem, the non-circularity factors and DOAs of non-circular signals are estimated from generalized eigen-values and generalized eigen-vectors, respectively. Simulation results are provided to show higher resolution capacity and estimation precision of the proposed method.
