Abstract
Summary form only given. We have described and demonstrated a servo technique for controlling the phase-matching condition of a quasi-phase-matched second harmonic generation (QPM-SHG) waveguide for tunable laser operation. This technique is simple to implement and easily accommodates temperature fluctuation and system drifts. It is applicable to any nonlinear optical crystal in a bulk or waveguide configuration, and also works with quasi-phase-matched crystals.
