Abstract :
The paper proposes an agent approach to power system distribution networks. The proposed multi-agent system is constructed with a two-level hierarchical architecture. Several feeder agents (FAGs) are located at the upper level and manage the restoration process, while a number of load agents (LAGs) are located at the lower level. Simulation results show that the proposed multi-agent system can reach a sub-optimal solution by making use of only local information.
