Abstract :
Four three-branch lumped element (LE) codirectional (COD) couplers corresponding to four fundamental two-branch LE COD couplers are derived using the equivalent transformation of transmission-line segments to LE π-type two-port circuits. The derivation method is very simple. Frequency characteristics are presented regarding the three-branch LE COD couplers.
