            Abstract : 
Summary form only given. The research on the excimer of dimolecular O/sub 2/ is a new field of laser medium research. According to quantum chemistry theory, using ab initio method, the HFR equation is solved for O/sub 2/ with eight possible groups. Its excited state is a bound state and its ground state is a repulsive state. The vibrated structures were analyzed and calculated by group theory.
