Abstract
This paper proposes a novel interference suppression method using discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) in DS/CDMA communication systems. After despreading process, a desired signal has only DC component, while, the other multiple access interference (MAI) has many high frequency components. By using these components, MAI can be suppressed. The suppression effect is evaluated by improvement of bit error rate (BER).
