Abstract :
Visible light communication (VLC) based on RF carrier allocation (CA) has been utilized to reduce inter-cell interference when different signals are sent from various cells. The intensity of the light is modulated by using the different RF carriers in respective cells. The light coming from various optical sources causes RF signal distortion due to the high optical power at a receiver. The RF signal power reduction and phase variation caused by the high optical power are investigated by experimentation in CA-VLC system.
