Abstract :
Summary form only given. In conclusion, we have proposed a novel method for measuring the electro optical (EO) coefficients, in which the long range surface plasmon mode (LRSPM) rather than the traditional guided modes is utilized to obtain the EO coefficient of poled polymers. By using this method, the errors caused by piezoelectric effect of poled polymers can be easily excluded and the EO coefficients can be measured more accurately.
