Abstract
This presentation gives results of a project where a full-wave numerical code of the HUT Electromagnetics Laboratory is applied to the scattering problem involving the very new concept of PEMC material. PEMC is a generalization of PEC and PMC media. The bistatic scattering characteristics of small and resonating PEMC spheres are calculated numerically. The results show that PEMC spheres display strong cross-polarization in the backscattering direction. Also the radiation pattern rotates from that of PEC and PMC spheres.
