Abstract :
In this paper, an efficient timing synchronization method for OFDMA (OFDM-FDMA) systems is presented. Under the multipath channel environment of ITU-R M.1225, detection probability, false alarm and missing probability of the proposed timing synchronization scheme are compared with the existing method of 2004 to demonstrate the excellence of the proposed scheme. Additional results will be added for the case of higher mobility.
