Abstract
A circuit model has been developed that models resonant mode coupling. It has good accuracy for enclosures with a Q of over 100 and is useful for Qs as low as 20. For lower Qs, the full wave spectral summation, which serves as the starting point for this model, no longer has a single spectral term which produces a dominant resonance. The proposed model is easily implemented on commercially available computer-aided design (CAD) packages and requires several orders of magnitude less CPU time than a full-wave technique.<>
