Abstract :
Summary form only given. We discuss the design and operation characteristics of dispersion-compensated fiber laser that uses a short Er/Yb:fiber with a semiconductor 1550-nm saturable Bragg reflector. This laser is suitable for the chirped-pulse WDM application.
