            Abstract :
Scheduling resource requests is essential for a high-performance distributed environment. The author proposes a decentralized scheduling algorithm in which the control of the mechanism is fully distributed. The scheduling is accomplished by passing tokens and stamps among nodes. Since the control is decentralized, reliability is enhanced and the congestion of message traffic is reduced
