Abstract :
The methodologies of various software attacks and counterattacks on large computer systems are discussed. Types and sources of data security threats are discussed, and the vulnerabilities of mainframes are addressed. A total approach to computer security, including physical, logical, and procedural security, is described. Risk level and cost considerations are outlined
