Abstract :
Summary form only given. We observed phase-matched difference frequency generation (DFG) in LiNbO/sub 3/ at 2.08 /spl mu/m, shorter than the 2.6 /spl mu/m design wavelength as a result of the shortness of the quasi phased matched (QPM) grating period used.
