Abstract :
Two Gyrotron devices are presently under development at Hughes EDD: a 94 GHz Gyro-amplifier operating at 10 kW peak and 4% bandwidth (1), and a 60 GHz Gyrotron oscillator with 200 kW output (2). Unique construction problems and results of testing and the first of each of these tubes are presented in this paper.
