Abstract :
A method is given which allows an easy and effective computation of domains of attraction for the solutions of a class of second-degree nonlinear and nonautonomous circuits and systems. Both locally and globally attracting domains can be determined in the state-space. The method yields much better results than those obtained using the classical method of quadratic Liapunov functions, as shown by some examples. Furthermore, the results yield interesting information about the actual solutions of the state equations considered.<>
