Abstract :
Experimental results are presented for a 45-GHz peniotron amplifier operating in the fundamental mode, using a unique electron gun and a new technique to fabricate quadruple ridge waveguides. More then 300 W of amplified output power was achieved. When operated as an oscillator, as much as 750 W of output power was observed.
