Abstract :
Complex of original devices for conducting researches into thermostimulated radio-frequency electromagnetic emission, thermo- and roentgeno luminescence, electric conductivity within wide temperature range has been constructed. It includes: device on measuring thermoluminescence; unit on synchronous measuring of electromagnetic and acoustic emission while mineral heating in vacuum up to 800°C; unit on synchronous measuring of electric conductivity, thermo current, and impulse electromagnetic emission of minerals, rocks, and artificial compounds when heating in vacuum up to 1000°C. Complex of electrophysical methods is used to solve the problems concerning diagnostic of genetically informative defects in dielectrics, particularly in quartz, and to determine typomorphism of structure-sensing characteristics of quartzites, and to distinguish Paleosoic oil-bearing series. It has been established that electrophysical characteristics (thermostimulated electromagnetic emission, acoustic emission, and thermoluminescence) of minerals with various radiation defect type are determined by structure defect relaxation and correlate with physical and chemical parameters of geological medium. Modeling of various micro defectiveness is realized by means of ionizing radiation. Conducted experimental researches on minerals (quartz, calcite, dolomite, feldspar, limestone) and synthetic crystals allow to establish residual defectiveness (effect of radiation “memory”)
