Abstract :
A singular N-dimensional Roesser model and a singular N-dimensional general model of linear discrete systems are introduced. A method for the reduction of singular 2-D linear systems to equivalent singular 1-D systems with variable structure is presented. Conditions are established under which the singular 1-D systems having dynamics in different directions and connected in a feedback system. Solvability conditions for the singular Roesser model are given
