Abstract :
In this paper we investigate the outdoor performance of our current FLATCON® concentrator modules. For this purpose we have continuously measured IV curves of the concentrator modules. Additionally we have measured IV curves of two silicon flat plate modules, one of which was mounted on the same tracker as the concentrator modules and one that was mounted on a fixed plane-south facing, 30° tilted to horizontal plane (a preferable orientation for flat plate modules in Freiburg). Thus we are able to compare the energy generation of the concentrator modules directly with standard flat plate modules.
