Abstract :
In this work the authors solve the task of increasing the vertical and horizontal definition by two times and the arrangement of 3D perception of television (TV) images. The concept of improving the quality of the TV image, using an additional channel is considered when compatibility to the standard broadcast system is maintained. Such an approach creates the basis for the evolutionary transition to HDTV
