Abstract
The concept of active model is introduced as a definition of the functioning of a real-time system (RTS), which can be used in the task role for a program virtual machine (PVM). In other words, the active model has program properties for execution on PVM. The model of RTS gets the property of activity after it is provided with the ability to execute on a PVM. The active model is developed so that the rules of its start and execution on PVM correspond to the functioning of the designed RTS in model representation. The active model is created on the basis of the program model, that realises the applied RTS functions, and the model of the architecture´s variant of the multiprocessor computing system (MCS). The program model includes the following components: set of computing real-time processes (rt-processes); plan of use of resources MCS by rt-processes; and channel functions of the interaction of rt-processes. Theoretical bases of rt-processes, interaction mechanisms of rt-processes and the rule of construction of channel functions, realising interaction protocols, are described in the report
