Abstract
This paper considers a distributed binary detection system with n binary independent identical sensors. We show that the system-wise probability of error is a quasi-convex function of local threshold τ for generalized Gaussian noise and some non-Gaussian noise distributions. This yields a globally optimal and computationally feasible solution technique
