Abstract :
In this paper, stability and other properties of a class of 2-D digital transfer function having a third-degree denominator with two adjustable parameters have been examined. It is shown that these parameters can be varied satisfying stability conditions. All four basic types of 2-D filters, namely low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-elimination filters having variable magnitude characteristics can be obtained
