  • Abstract
    A discussion on class AB companding systems is presented, and it is shown how sinh systems can be actually regarded as a particular instance of class AB companding systems which are not explicitly differential, but that can be formally described as (internally nonlinear) differential systems. A general synthesis method for obtaining sinh systems from Gm-C structures by a component-to-component substitution is provided, and subsequently, a sinh biquad thus obtained is analyzed in depth
